AVP of Branch Operations
Job Summary:
The AVP of Branch Operations oversees the daily operations of the credit union branch, ensuring excellent member service, efficient operations, and achievement of financial goals. This role manages branch staff, drives business growth, and ensures compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support branch staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Operate a Teller Drawer as well as open new membership accounts.
- Provide exceptional service to members and resolve complex inquiries or issues.
- Manage daily branch operations, including cash handling, transactions, and security.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow membership and deposits.
- Monitor branch performance and prepare reports on monthly department performance.
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs and branch goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of financial services or banking experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of credit union operations, lending, and member service principles.
